Manager's Welcome
Sally Martiello : Kindergarten Manager

Hi I’m Sally, I have been at Oakley Pre-school since 2005. In 2010 I took on the position of Pre-school Manager and in 2022 we changed to Oakley Kindergarten. I love being part of the team at Oakley Kindergarten and I work tirelessly in the drive for ongoing development and improvement of the provision we offer.
I aim to be an inspirational manager who is committed to ensure that our children receive the very best of learning opportunities in a happy and enabling environment.
Our child-led approach supports the development of purposeful, calm, confident and independent children. Alongside planning in the moment, it improves children's outcomes and meets both the individual needs of the children and the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
We welcome you to Oakley Kindergarten and look forward to working in partnership with you.

Meet Our Team
Dianne Todd : Deputy

Hi I’m Dianne. I first joined Oakley Pre-school in 2000 and qualified as a pre-school practitioner in 2005. I left in 2008 to become an Early Years Coordinator in a day care setting before moving on to manage a busy day nursery for 9 years.
I returned to Oakley Pre-school in 2017 and am delighted to be back and working as part of a dedicated team, to ensure your child has the best start and the happiest of times as we prepare them for school.”

Sravanti Mamidi : Level 3 Practitioner

Hello, my name is Srav. I have been working in the childcare sector since 2012. I am a level 3 qualified nursery practitioner and specialise in working with young children in a nursery setting. I have worked in a variety of settings including private nurseries, day care centres and preschools. My experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the needs and developmental milestones of young children.
I possess a good knowledge of child developmental theories which has helped me to create engaging activities that promote overall growth and learning. I am dedicated to staying updated with the latest trends, research and best practices in early childhood education.
My hobbies include cooking and baking. I would like to explore new recipes, experiment with ingredients and create delicious meals. I love being in nature, it helps me to unwind and stay fit. I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places, experiencing different cultures and discovering new perspectives.

Heidi Hale : Level 3 Practitioner

Hello, my name is Heidi. I’ve been working in the childcare industry since 2017. I am a level 3 qualified nursery practitioner and I have experience working with babies up to pre-schooler age, helping them become school ready.
I love all things crafty and messy which is great for planning fun activities for your little ones to help their imaginations and creative skills thrive. I enjoy helping young children to develop and learn skills to set them up for going to school.
In my spare time I like to do fun activities at home with my own children and go exploring in the woods and making dens with them. I live on a farm with lots of animals such as donkeys, chickens, ducks, horses and guinea pigs which can be a great area of topic for talking about. I am currently finishing a level 3 course in Autism too.
I look forward to getting to know all of the children and families at Oakley Kindergarten.

Megan Drury : Level 3 Practitioner

Hello my name is Megan and I joined the Oakley Kindergarten team in the summer of 2023. I may be a newbie here but I’ve been working with children since 2017.
During lock down I had a little girl of my own so the childcare didn’t end even though I wasn’t in a nursery setting! I didn’t expect to have a career in education but now I am here I can’t imagine doing anything else.
I have an art degree and it has been surprisingly useful in helping children through some of the most formative years of their life. I am very passionate about special educational needs and continue to further my understanding in my own time.
Apart from being a mother, when not at work I’m a massive vintage enthusiast and have quite a collection. I was raised by my Grandfather who was an Archaeologist so I have some really cool stuff to show and tell when the children’s interest’s revolve around dinosaurs!

Hello, I'm Stephanie. I have been a Nursery Assistant here at Oakley Kindergarten since 2022. I thoroughly enjoy working with all the children across the three rooms within our stimulating and beautiful new rural setting and along our dedicated Kindergarten team.
I am particularly interested in seeing how the children learn through their play and I feel privileged to support them at the very start of their educational journey.

Basic Food Hygiene
Hi, I'm Julie. We moved from Derbyshire to Oakley in the summer 2010 in time for my eldest child to start primary school and my middle child started at Oakley Pre-school shortly followed by my youngest. The Pre-school was so welcoming and the staff so kind and dedicated that I wanted to give something back so wasn't long before I joined the Pre-school Committee and in 2012 accepted to take over as the Chairperson. I continued this role until becoming the Pre-school Administrator in 2019.
